The BibleEvidence.com project,
launched in 2004, is dedicated to the fostering and sharing of Biblical research. It is not owned, operated or funded by any church or denomination. Its team members are members of the Seventh-day Adventist church and believe the Bible to be of divine origin and thus reliable, practical, and critical for the survival and betterment of humanity. The project's goals are to
- (a) thoroughly research evidence from the Bible and encourage others to do the same and
- (b) implement the resulting convictions through power from Jesus.
that the Bible is the only rule of faith. All information must be measured against it. Every idea, whether from a prophet, church or even an angel, must be evaluated against the biblical test (Gal. 1:6-9). The veracity of any teaching must be determined by searching the Scriptures to see whether those things are so (Acts 17:11). The Holy Spirit, who inspired and instructed humans to write the Bible (2 Pet. 1:21) will not contradict Himself in later revelations. On the contrary, true prophets, faithful churches and angels from God will uplift the Scriptures, not directing others to themselves or a new religion, but pointing to the Bible and its author. In this way, humans from any time, culture or place can know truth, find an accurate picture of Jesus, learn His ways to follow, and understand the path to salvation for themselves. All who follow the promptings of Jesus' representative, the Holy Spirit, no matter what religion they claim or disclaim, can be assured that the Holy Spirit is leading them toward that unerring guide, the Scriptures. Therein is revealed God's will.
This website is dedicated
to the examination of the Scriptures for the truth about God's will. We search for evidence from the Bible regarding every subject that affects human lives. As the evidence begins to stack up, we experience conviction, and we turn to Jesus to fulfill His promises to shape our lives according to His Word... Evidence renders proof. Proof inspires conviction. Conviction requires action.
